⋆Red Eye (2005) : ✵✵ - I am obsessed with the fact that this entire movie's premise is now obsolete due to the existence of cell phones. Apparently plane phones stopped being a thing altogether in 2006. Also the idea that you can speak at normal volume in a space where no one else is talking and nobody will eavesdrop.

⋆Valmont (1989) : ✵✵✵ - Gorgeous set design. Baby Fairuza Balk. I need to watch Cruel Intentions again to say for sure, but this is perhaps my favorite Les Liaisons dangereuses adaptation. It is genuinely upsetting and due to that enjoyable that Valmont does not get redeemed in death.
